The Blum Trust offers need-based educational loans up to $7,500 per year, interest-free for ten years, to Jewish students pursuing careers in the fields of medicine, dentistry, podiatry, pharmacy, chiropractic, nursing, and other allied health professions.

The Trust was established in 1952 under the will of Dr. Joseph M. Blum to provide financial support for the medical school tuition of poor and worthy Jewish students from Trenton, New Jersey.

In 2015, the criteria were expanded to include those pursuing allied health professions, and the geographic region now includes the following locations: Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Monmouth, and Burlington counties in New Jersey, and Bucks county in Pennsylvania.
